Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), a part of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has today entered into a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). Facilitated by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, this collaboration is designed to bolster cyber security and data protection across national highway operations.
The primary focus of the MoU is to enable cooperation in critical areas such as cyber forensics, digital evidence integrity, research, specialized training, and consultancy. This partnership aims to enhance the security of key highway technologies, including Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS). A further key objective is to strengthen secure data storage capabilities and build overall cyber resilience for the nation’s highway infrastructure.
