UPSC Extends Call Centre Hours to Support CSE and IFoS 2026 Aspirants

The Union Public Service Commission has extended the operational hours of its call centre to offer enhanced support and guidance to candidates applying for the Civil Services Examination 2026 and the Indian Forest Service Examination 2026.

In a statement, UPSC said the call centre will remain operational on all days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, until the application deadlines for both examinations. The facility will function in two shifts from 7 am to 9 pm, allowing aspirants to seek assistance well beyond regular working hours.

To further improve responsiveness, the Commission has doubled the strength of the call centre to significantly cut down waiting time for applicants. UPSC Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar said the extended operations are part of a series of measures aimed at ensuring ease of access, improved availability, and timely assistance for aspirants during the application process.
