Israel to Lead High-Level Delegation at India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi

A senior Israeli delegation will take part in the India AI Impact Summit 2026, which opens in New Delhi on February 16, the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi announced.

The delegation will be headed by Ilan Fluss, former Ambassador and Economic Diplomacy and Trade (EDTs) Policy Coordinator at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It will include senior government representatives, technology executives, researchers and policy specialists. The visit is aimed at deepening cooperation between India and Israel in artificial intelligence, climate resilience, ESG investment, digital governance and responsible innovation.

In a statement, Fluss said the growing partnership between the two countries carries a shared responsibility to ensure technological progress remains anchored in ethical values. He noted that as artificial intelligence reshapes global systems, India and Israel are well placed to demonstrate how advanced technology can evolve alongside human-centric principles. He described the delegation’s participation as a significant step in advancing bilateral engagement in AI and deep technology collaboration.

During the summit, Israeli representatives are expected to join high-level panel discussions and hold bilateral meetings covering AI-driven climate adaptation, precision agriculture, digital public infrastructure, workforce transformation and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. Discussions will also examine ESG models, impact investment strategies and public-private partnerships to support inclusive and sustainable growth.

Maya Sherman, Innovation Attaché at the Embassy of Israel, said both countries approach technological development with a focus on people and practical outcomes. She highlighted cooperation in AI, climate innovation and digital transformation, particularly in areas such as resilient agriculture, skills development and responsible AI deployment.

Ahead of the summit, the Embassy organised a series of side engagements to connect Israeli and Indian stakeholders across academia, industry and government. At the main venue, Bharat Mandapam, the delegation will collaborate with institutions including IIT Ropar, Dhirubhai Ambani University and policy think tank The Dialogue to strengthen partnerships in AI and emerging technologies.

According to the Embassy, the initiative reflects the expanding strategic partnership between India and Israel, with innovation-led growth and responsible technology development at its core.
