March 03, 2026 : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has opened applications for its two-year MBA in Public Policy and Governance under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) sponsored by the Government of Chhattisgarh. The programme is designed to build a cadre of professionally trained leaders equipped to strengthen public systems and governance outcomes.
The curriculum blends rigorous management education with hands-on administrative exposure. Participants will develop analytical capability, managerial competence, and a grounded understanding of public administration through structured field engagements. Academic sessions will be conducted at the IIM Raipur campus, while practical training and field immersion will be carried out in collaboration with departments of the Government of Chhattisgarh.
The programme will be led by Professor Gopal Kumar and Professor Shabna P., who will serve as Programme Directors.
A key feature of the fellowship is the full financial backing provided by the state government. The Government of Chhattisgarh will cover the entire tuition fee for all selected candidates. In addition, each fellow will receive a monthly stipend of ₹50,000 for the full two-year duration. The financial support is intended to ensure that meritorious candidates can pursue advanced education in governance without economic constraints.
