Indians Depart Doha on Special Flights

March 10, 2026 : The Indian Embassy in Qatar has said that around 1,000 Indian nationals who were stranded in Doha during transit or short-term visits have left for India on Qatar Airways flights over the past three days.

According to the Embassy, a special Doha–New Delhi flight operated yesterday carried more than 300 Indian passengers back to India. It further informed that Qatar Airways is scheduled to operate three additional flights today to Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi to facilitate the return of stranded travellers.

The Embassy has advised Indian passengers currently stranded in Doha to make use of these flights and stay in regular contact with the airline for travel updates.

Officials also said that cases of passengers seeking Saudi visas are being taken up with the concerned authorities. The Indian community in Qatar has been urged to strictly follow the guidelines issued by Qatar’s Ministry of Interior to ensure their safety and security.

The Embassy also cautioned people against believing rumours and advised them to rely only on authentic and official sources of information.
