  • Chhattisgarh High Court Deputes Three Judicial Officers to Key State Commissions

    March 29, 2026 : The Chhattisgarh High Court has issued an order, under the Law and Legislative Affairs Department, deputing three officers from the Higher Judicial Service to various commissions under the General Administration Department.

    As per the order, Manish Kumar Thakur, currently serving as Registrar (Vigilance) of the High Court, has been appointed as Secretary in the Chhattisgarh Human Rights Commission.

    In a related development, Sanjay Agrawal, District and Additional Sessions Judge, Raipur, has been relieved from his role as Joint Secretary in the Human Rights Commission and reassigned as Law Officer within the same commission.

    Additionally, Chitralekha Sonwani, District and Sessions Judge (FTC), Ambikapur, has been deputed as Deputy Secretary in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission.
