March 10, 2026 : The National Institute of Technology Agartala has released an official recruitment notification dated March 10, 2026, inviting applications for Group A administrative positions. The recruitment drive aims to fill key officer-level posts in the institute’s administrative setup, strengthening institutional governance and operations.
As per the official advertisement, the recruitment is being conducted for multiple high-level administrative posts such as Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, and other equivalent positions. These posts fall under Group A category and are crucial for handling academic administration, finance, establishment matters, and institutional coordination.
The eligibility criteria vary depending on the post but generally include a Master’s degree with relevant administrative experience in government organizations, universities, or reputed institutions. For senior posts like Registrar and Deputy Registrar, candidates are expected to have substantial experience in administration along with strong knowledge of service rules, financial regulations, and institutional management practices.
The pay structure follows the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms, with salaries ranging across Level 10 to Level 14, depending on the post and responsibilities. Selected candidates will be appointed on a regular or deputation basis as specified in the notification.
