Surguja Invites Applications for 15 Contractual Assistant Veterinary Field Officer Posts

June 4, 2026 : The Animal Husbandry Department in Surguja has invited applications from eligible candidates for the contractual recruitment of 15 Assistant Veterinary Field Officers under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) fund. The recruitment aims to strengthen veterinary services and improve facilities at animal healthcare institutions across the district.

According to the Deputy Director of Veterinary Services, interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications in the prescribed format at the Office of the Deputy Director, Veterinary Services, from June 8, 2026, to June 23, 2026. Applications will be accepted between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, along with the required documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.

Applicants may submit their forms either in person or through registered post within the stipulated period. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, application procedures, and the prescribed format is available on the district’s official website at https://surguja.gov.in/.

Information and application forms have also been displayed on the notice boards of the Office of the Deputy Director of Veterinary Services, all block-level veterinary hospitals, and the offices of the Chief Executive Officers of all Janpad Panchayats in the district.

Following scrutiny of applications, candidates will be shortlisted based on merit and invited for interviews and verification of original documents as part of the selection process.
