APSERC Invites Applications for Electricity Ombudsman Post; Apply Before April 12

March 10, 2026 : The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission has invited applications for the post of Electricity Ombudsman, offering a senior-level opportunity for experienced professionals in the power, legal, or administrative sectors.

As per the official vacancy circular dated March 10, 2026, the position is designed to strengthen consumer grievance redressal mechanisms within the electricity regulatory framework. The Ombudsman plays a critical role in adjudicating disputes between electricity consumers and distribution utilities.

The post carries a monthly remuneration of ₹50,000 and is intended for individuals with substantial professional experience. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and possess at least 20 years of experience in fields such as electrical engineering, law, or public administration.
