March 10, 2026 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of being behind the controversy surrounding the AI Impact Summit, claiming the incident was part of a deliberate attempt to project India negatively on the global stage.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that Rahul Gandhi was the “architect and designer” of the developments linked to the summit. According to Patra, the episode was carefully planned to create an unfavourable impression of India before the international community.

He also claimed that the protest by Youth Congress leaders during the summit was not spontaneous but a “calculated experiment” intended to embarrass the country at an important global event.

Patra said such actions were aimed at undermining India’s reputation and weakening its global standing. However, he asserted that the country remains strong and resilient despite what he described as attempts to defame it internationally.

The BJP leader added that India’s growth and global stature would continue to strengthen, regardless of political efforts to portray the nation negatively.
