March 06, 2026 : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the Class 10 examinations scheduled between 7th and 11th March in the West Asian Region. The Board also announced that the Class 10 exams conducted on 2nd, 5th and 6th March will stand cancelled.
CBSE said that the process for declaring results of Class 10 students in the Middle East will be announced separately at a later stage.
Meanwhile, the Class 12 examination scheduled for 7th March has been postponed. The Board stated that revised dates will be announced in due course.
CBSE will review the situation tomorrow and issue further directions regarding examinations scheduled from 9th March onwards. All Class 12 students have been advised to stay in regular contact with their schools and closely follow official updates.
