DBRANLU Law Review Blog Invites Submissions on Contemporary Legal Issues

The DBRANLU Law Review Blog, the flagship blog platform of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, has announced a call for submissions, inviting contributions from law students, academicians, and researchers across India.

Managed by the university’s Research and Publications Committee, the student-run, peer-reviewed blog aims to foster rigorous legal discourse by publishing original and analytical pieces that engage with contemporary developments in law and allied disciplines. The platform seeks to encourage interdisciplinary scholarship grounded in logic, structured argumentation, and critical analysis.

The Editorial Board is accepting manuscripts in the form of articles, case comments, research pieces, and opinion essays. Submissions must demonstrate a clear nexus to legal issues, with emphasis on originality, coherence, and identification of evolving judicial trends. Purely descriptive works, the Board noted, are unlikely to be considered.

Eligibility is limited to students currently pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programme or an LL.M. degree from a recognised institution. Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.

As per the submission guidelines, manuscripts should be between 1200 and 1500 words, formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. Authors are required to hyperlink all references within the text, with minimal use of footnotes or endnotes. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. A similarity index exceeding 10 percent will result in automatic rejection.

The blog also emphasised strict anonymity in submissions, prohibiting any personal identification within manuscripts. Additionally, it cautioned against heavy reliance on artificial intelligence tools, stating that such entries would be summarily rejected.

Submissions are being accepted on a rolling basis through a designated Google Form, and entries sent via any other medium will not be entertained. Authors will receive confirmation within three to four business days, while editorial decisions are expected within four weeks.

The copyright of all accepted pieces will vest with the DBRANLU Law Review Blog.
