Delhi Police Joint Commissioner and Public Relations Officer Sanjay Tyagi has said there has been no rise in missing persons cases in the national capital compared to previous years. Addressing public concerns, Mr Tyagi stated that the number of missing persons reported in January this year was lower than during the same period in earlier years. He urged people not to panic over rumours being circulated, particularly claims related to the disappearance of children in Delhi. Mr Tyagi also warned that the police would take strict action against individuals spreading false or misleading information.
