District Fee Regulation Committee Constituted in Surguja for Effective Implementation of Chhattisgarh Private School Fee Regulation Act, 2020

Law Notfy : In accordance with the guidelines issued by the Law and Legislative Affairs Department, Mahanadi Bhavan, Nava Raipur, and published in the Chhattisgarh Gazette (Extraordinary) on September 28, 2020, the District Fee Determination Committee has been constituted to ensure effective implementation of the Chhattisgarh Private School Fee Regulation Act, 2020.

Under the notified arrangement, the Collector of Surguja has been appointed as the Chairperson of the committee, while the District Education Officer will serve as its Secretary. The committee includes District Treasury Officer Ms Ankita Singh, educationist Mr R. K. Sengar, advocate Mr Manoj Tiwari as legal expert, and parents representing private schools, Mr Tej Rai Baik and Mr Anangpal Dixit, as members.

Representatives of private school management have also been nominated, including Mr C. P. Singh, Manager of the Higher Secondary School, Pratapur Naka, Ambikapur, and Ms Meera Singh, Principal of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Higher Secondary School.

The District Fee Determination Committee will examine cases related to fee fixation and regulation in private schools and take decisions strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Act. The objective of these decisions is to safeguard the interests of parents and students while ensuring transparent and lawful fee regulation in private educational institutions.
