DPCC Invites Applications for Legal Assistant Posts on Deputation Basis; Rolling Advertisement Open Till April 30

March 12, 2026 : The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), functioning under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications for the post of Legal Assistant on a deputation basis, including short-term contract.

As per the official notification, the engagement is initially for a period of one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and departmental requirements. The recruitment aims to strengthen the legal and compliance framework of the committee, which plays a key role in monitoring and regulating environmental pollution in the national capital.

The notification specifies that eligible candidates must be officers from Central or State Governments, Union Territories, autonomous bodies, or recognized research institutions. Applicants should either hold an analogous post or have at least three years of regular service in a relevant position. A law degree from a recognized university is mandatory.

Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-6 of the pay matrix (₹35,400–₹1,12,400), along with admissible allowances as per rules. The role involves assisting in legal research, drafting documents, handling litigation-related work, and supporting departmental legal functions.

The application process is offline, and candidates are required to submit their applications through the proper channel along with necessary documents and a No Objection Certificate, if applicable. Applications are to be sent to the Administrative Officer, DPCC, at its Shastri Park office in Delhi.

The recruitment is being conducted in multiple phases under a rolling advertisement system. The last date for submission of applications in the final phase is April 30, 2026.

The DPCC, established to enforce environmental laws and control pollution levels in Delhi, continues to expand its institutional capacity through such targeted recruitments.
