    March 16, 2026 : Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL), a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification for the post of Young Professional. The recruitment is being conducted to fill 7 contractual positions in different disciplines including General, Statistics, Economics, and Legal.

    Selected candidates will be engaged with the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education in New Delhi. The position is offered on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year. The contract may be extended further depending on performance and project requirements. Candidates selected for the position will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹70,000.

    The recruitment includes four posts for Young Professional (General), one post for Young Professional (Statistics), one post for Young Professional (Economics), and one post for Young Professional (Legal). Candidates applying for the positions must have relevant educational qualifications from recognized institutions that are ranked in the NIRF rankings or equivalent international rankings.

    For the General category positions, candidates with degrees such as B.Tech, M.Tech, LLB, LLM, or a relevant postgraduate degree in non-technical disciplines are eligible. For the Statistics position, applicants should have a degree or postgraduate qualification in Statistics or Operational Research. Candidates applying for the Economics position must have a degree in Economics, Public Policy, or Development Studies. For the Legal position, candidates must hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in Law from a recognized institution.

    Applicants should also have strong research ability, policy analysis skills, report writing capability, and familiarity with data analysis and MS Office tools. These skills are considered desirable as the role involves supporting policy research, data analysis, and documentation work for the Ministry of Education.

    The maximum age limit for applicants is 32 years as of 31 December 2025. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic background, experience, and suitability for the role. The selection process may involve a written test, group discussion, or personal interview depending on the number of applications received.
