March 03, 2026 : Flight services between the United Arab Emirates and India resumed on a limited scale last night, offering relief to thousands of Indian passengers stranded due to the recent escalation in the West Asian region.
Departures from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to key Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru restarted after being suspended for several days amid security concerns.
In a statement posted on social media, the Dubai Media Office said Dubai Airports had confirmed the partial resumption of operations. A limited number of flights were allowed to operate from Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central, also known as Al Maktoum International Airport.
Authorities have advised passengers not to travel to the airports unless they have received direct confirmation from their airline regarding a scheduled departure time, as services remain restricted and subject to change.
