March 05, 2026 : The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has advised Indian nationals in the UAE to remain vigilant and calm in view of the ongoing conflict in West Asia. The Embassy urged citizens to follow safety guidelines issued by UAE authorities and keep track of official advisories.
According to the advisory, UAE airspace and regular scheduled flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the current situation. However, Indian and UAE airlines have started limited non-scheduled flights to several destinations in India in coordination with UAE authorities. Stranded Indian nationals can avail themselves of these services by contacting their respective airlines.
The UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Authority has also announced a waiver of overstay fines for visitors and others who have been unable to leave the country after 28 February because of the exceptional circumstances.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai, along with their outsourced passport, consular and visa service centres, are continuing to operate normally.
