January 17, 2026 : The National Testing Agency has released the admit cards for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination. Candidates scheduled to appear for Paper 1 of B.E. or B.Tech between January 21 and 24 can download their admit cards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The examination will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift is scheduled from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will run from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates have been advised to check that the QR code and barcode printed on the admit card are clear and readable. They must also carry a valid photo identity card for verification at the exam centre, preferably the same ID that was uploaded during the application process.
The agency has further informed that admit cards for candidates appearing on January 28 and 29 for Paper 1 of B.E. or B.Tech, Paper 2A of B.Arch, and Paper 2B of B.Planning will be released shortly.
