At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, French President Emmanuel Macron will undertake a three-day official visit to India beginning 17 February.
President Macron is scheduled to attend the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi on 19 February. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the visit will include detailed discussions between the two leaders on advancing bilateral cooperation across key sectors outlined in the Horizon 2047 Roadmap.
Talks are expected to cover a wide range of regional and global issues, including collaboration in the Indo-Pacific region.
Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will also travel to Mumbai to jointly launch the India-France Year of Innovation, which will be observed throughout 2026 in both countries.
The visit follows Prime Minister Modi’s trip to France in February last year and underlines the strength of the India-France Strategic Partnership, built on mutual trust and a shared resolve to expand cooperation further.
