Meghalaya High Court Invites Applications for Law Clerk Posts on Contract Basis

The High Court of Meghalaya has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Law Clerks on a contractual basis. As per Advertisement No. R210 dated March 20, 2026, the recruitment is being conducted for two vacancies.

The engagement will be for a period of two years under the scheme governing Law Clerks-cum-Legal Research Assistants in the High Court. Candidates selected for the position will assist the judges in legal research, drafting, and other judicial work as per the prescribed scheme.

To be eligible, applicants must be Indian nationals aged between 23 and 33 years as on the date of the advertisement. The application must be submitted in the prescribed format and should reach the office of the Registrar General, High Court of Meghalaya, Shillong, within the stipulated deadline.
