March 10, 2026 : A two-day cultural festival, Adi Parab 2026 – “Parampara Se Pehchan Tak”, will be organised on March 13 and 14 at the campus of the Tribal Research and Training Institute in Nava Raipur. The event is being hosted by the state’s Tribal Development Department.
Officials from the department said the festival aims to provide a platform to showcase the creativity, philosophy of life and rich cultural heritage of tribal communities. Through this initiative, the state government seeks to promote and preserve tribal art, traditions and cultural practices.
The programme will feature several thematic segments. Under Adi Rang, artworks by tribal painters will be displayed in a special exhibition. Adi Paridhan will present attractive showcases based on traditional tribal attire. A seminar series titled Adi Aakhyan will focus on discussions around tribal themes and issues.
In addition, Adi Haat will offer a marketplace where tribal artisans will present handcrafted items and traditional products. Various cultural performances highlighting tribal customs and traditions will also be organised during the festival.
