March 29, 2026 : Three juvenile offenders managed to escape while being transported back from the MANA Juvenile Court in Raipur. The incident occurred when the minors reportedly unlocked the police vehicle from inside and jumped out, taking advantage of a halt near Shubham Mart in Birgaon.

According to officials, the juveniles were being taken in a new Bolero vehicle when they opened the lock and fled in different directions as soon as the vehicle stopped. Police immediately initiated a chase and successfully apprehended one of the escapees within a few hours.

However, the remaining two juveniles managed to escape by taking advantage of the darkness and narrow lanes in the area. A search operation is currently underway, with police combing nearby localities to trace and detain the absconding minors.
