The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the schedule for the written examination for its ongoing direct recruitment drive covering 32,679 posts of Constable Civil Police and other equivalent positions in the state police force.

As per the official notification, the written examination will be held from June 8 to June 10, 2026. The test will be conducted in two shifts each day at designated examination centres across the state.

The recruitment process is being managed by the board from its headquarters in Lucknow. The drive covers a wide range of posts, including Constable Civil Police, Constable PAC, Constable Special Security Force, Constable PAC (Women), Constable Armed Police, Jail Warder, and Mounted Police.

The detailed recruitment notification for these posts was issued on December 31, 2025, following an earlier short notice that outlined the proposed selection process. Candidates have been advised to keep checking the board’s official website for further updates related to admit cards, exam centres, and subsequent stages of recruitment.
