March 05, 2026 : Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri today signed the condolence book at the Embassy of Iran in New Delhi on behalf of the Government of India. He expressed condolences on the passing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The visit marked India’s formal gesture of sympathy following the Iranian leader’s death, as New Delhi conveyed its respects to the people and government of Iran.
