CSC Tele-Law Scheme Brings Free Legal Advice to Villages in Dantewada | Law Notify

Dantewada, January 12, 2026 : Under the Digital India initiative of the Ministry of Law and Justice, the CSC Tele-Law Scheme is making access to justice easier for people living in rural and remote areas. Citizens in Bastar, Dantewada, and Bijapur districts can now receive legal advice without travelling to cities or district headquarters.

Through the Tele-Law service, people can visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) and consult experienced lawyers via video call or phone call. Eligible beneficiaries are provided legal assistance completely free of cost. The service covers a wide range of issues, including domestic violence, family disputes, land and property matters, FIR-related information, police procedures, rights of women and SC/ST communities, maintenance cases, and other social and legal concerns.

The role of CSC Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) is crucial in the effective implementation of the scheme. They register citizens, facilitate online consultations with legal experts, and provide guidance and support to visitors at the CSC centres.

CSC Manager Pradeep Kumar stated that the Tele-Law Scheme is an important step toward ensuring equal access to justice. He said the initiative is delivering simple, secure, and reliable legal support to rural citizens. He also appealed to all VLEs to connect more people with the service so that the principle of “justice as a right for every citizen” can be fully realised.

With the message “One Call, One Solution,” the Tele-Law Scheme is steadily transforming access to justice in rural areas. Citizens can avail themselves of this facility by visiting their nearest CSC centre.
