Kerala CEO Reviews Voter List Revision in Edamalakkudi, Final Roll on Feb 21

Kerala Chief Electoral Officer Ratan U. Kelkar visited Edamalakkudi in Munnar, the state’s first tribal panchayat, to assess the progress of the Special Intensive Revision ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

He said the SIR-related procedures in the tribal region will be completed by February 14. The final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on February 21.

Kelkar urged voters who need to add their names or make corrections in the list to approach their respective Booth Level Officer or Electoral Registration Officer. He clarified that names can be included in the voters’ list up to one day before the last date for filing nomination papers for the Assembly elections.

The CEO also informed that the hearing process under the Special Intensive Revision has already been completed in 64 Assembly constituencies across Kerala.
