Finance Minister O. P. Choudhary is slated to present the state Budget for the financial year 2026–27 on February 24. The Budget is expected to outline the government’s priorities on infrastructure, welfare schemes, and fiscal management for the coming year.
Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Raman Singh said that both the Governor’s address and the Finance Minister’s Budget speech will be broadcast live by Doordarshan and Akashwani Raipur to ensure wider public access to the proceedings.
The Speaker also confirmed that three significant Bills are proposed to be introduced during the session.
