Mungeli: A review meeting was held at the District Court premises on Tuesday to ensure the successful organization of the upcoming National Lok Adalat. The meeting focused on reviewing preparations for the Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on March 14.
During the meeting, Principal District and Sessions Judge Girija Devi Meravi emphasized the need for strong coordination among administrative departments and stressed preparing an effective strategy to resolve the maximum number of cases. Special attention was given to creating an action plan for the quick and amicable settlement of revenue-related cases.
Discussions were also held on arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the Lok Adalat, ensuring convenience for litigants, maintaining proper order within the court premises, and carrying out extensive public awareness and outreach.
The meeting was attended by Collector Kundan Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel, First District and Additional Sessions Judge Rakesh Kumar Som, Chief Judicial Magistrate Jaswinder Kaur Ajmani Malik, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Kanchan Lata Achla, and Additional Superintendent of Police Navneet Kaur Chhabra, along with other officials.
It is worth noting that the National Lok Adalat provides a platform for the speedy settlement of various pending and pre-litigation cases through mutual agreement, helping citizens receive quick and accessible justice.
