NCW Forms Fact-Finding Committee Over Alleged Sexual Harassment at TCS BPO in Nashik

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken suo motu cognisance of media reports alleging incidents of sexual harassment involving women employees at a BPO unit operated by Tata Consultancy Services in Nashik.

In response, the Commission has constituted a Fact-Finding Committee to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter. The Committee comprises Justice Sadhna Jadhav, a retired judge of the Bombay High Court, former Haryana Director General of Police BK Sinha, Supreme Court advocate Monika Arora, and NCW Senior Coordinator Lilabati.

The Committee is scheduled to visit the site of the alleged incident on Saturday and has been directed to submit its report to the Commission within ten working days.
