Raipur : The Supreme Court of India has launched “Samadhan Samaroh (Special Lok Adalat) 2026” with the aim of making justice simpler, more accessible, and resolution-oriented. The initiative, which began in April 2026, focuses on encouraging amicable settlements through mutual consent, reducing litigation burden, and delivering faster outcomes in suitable pending cases before the Supreme Court.
The process will culminate in a Special Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2026, at the Supreme Court premises. The primary objective is to resolve eligible pending cases through negotiation and consensus, avoiding prolonged court proceedings.
As part of the preparatory process, pre-settlement meetings will be conducted at District Legal Services Authorities and High Court Legal Services Committee offices. At the district level, the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority has been designated as the nodal officer to coordinate the initiative.
Parties interested in participating in this settlement drive can apply through the official Google Form: https://forms.gle/pRWbif6wAPrcMsZ8. The last date to submit applications is May 31, 2026.
For further assistance, a dedicated One Stop Centre (War Room) has been set up. Queries can be addressed via phone at 011-23115652, 011-23116164, or by email at speciallokadalat2026@sci.nic.in.
