CBI Registers FIR in Disha Salian Death Case Following Bombay HC Order

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR in connection with the death of Disha Salian, who was the manager of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Disha Salian died on June 8, 2020, after falling from the 12th floor of a residential building in Mumbai. Her death had subsequently become the subject of several allegations and investigations.

The CBI registered the FIR following an order of the Bombay High Court. The case names several individuals, including former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, his son Aaditya Thackeray, their security personnel, actor Dino Morea, Rohan Roy, Sooraj Pancholi, Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, and police officers Sachin Vaze and Param Bir Singh.

The registration of the FIR marks a fresh development in the long-running case and could lead to further investigation into the circumstances surrounding Salian’s death.
