Durg: A one-day Refresher Programme and N-STEP Training was organised at the District and Sessions Court, Durg, on September 19, 2026, with the objective of enhancing the knowledge, technical skills and efficiency of judicial staff. The programme was conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy, Bilaspur, in accordance with the directions of the High Court of Chhattisgarh and the e-Committee.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Shri K. Vinod Kujur, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Durg. The online training was conducted from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM under ECT_8_2026 for N-STEP training and ECT_9_2026 for the Refresher Programme for judicial employees at the district headquarters.
Shri Deepak Kosle, Fifth District and Additional Sessions Judge, Durg, was designated as the Nodal Officer for the programme. Shri Purushottam Singh Markam, Eighth District and Additional Sessions Judge, Durg, was also present during the training.
The first session covered important digital judicial systems and services, including Virtual Court–Traffic and Transport, e-Summons/N-STEP, e-Sakshya and CIS 4.0. Participants were provided with practical information regarding the functioning and use of these technologies in day-to-day judicial work.
The second session focused on NJDG, e-Court Services, e-Filing, Video Conferencing and Hybrid Hearings, and FASTER. The participants were familiarised with the technical and practical aspects of these digital platforms and their application in judicial proceedings.
From the Computer Cell of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, Shri Prince Kashyap, Computer Programmer, Shri Asif Khan, Network Engineer, and Shri Vivek Dubey, Software Engineer, provided online training and guidance on various subjects.
Court Managers Shri Udayan Dubey and Shri Pramod Achintya contributed to the management and smooth conduct of the training programme. Necessary technical support was provided by Shri Tarun Chandrakar and Shri Rishi Nirmalkar.
A total of 30 trainees from the District Court, Durg, participated in the programme. The participants included Shri R. R. Manikpuri, Chief Administrative Officer, Shri Nandkishore Mate, Deputy CFC, along with Order Writers and Order Process Servers.
The primary objective of the programme was to provide judicial employees with updated and practical knowledge of the latest information and communication technologies, e-Court services and digital judicial systems being used in the judicial process. The training is expected to help staff use these technologies more effectively and efficiently in their routine court-related work.
The programme concluded successfully at the District and Sessions Court, Durg, with the necessary administrative and technical arrangements in place. Through the training, participants gained useful knowledge about N-STEP, CIS 4.0, e-Summons, e-Sakshya, NJDG, e-Filing, Virtual Court, Hybrid Hearings and FASTER, strengthening their familiarity with key digital judicial services and systems.
