Chhattisgarh HC Makes Virtual Hearings More Accessible for Advocates and Litigants

May 21, 2026 : The High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur, has issued a notice simplifying access to court proceedings conducted through video conferencing by removing the password requirement for joining virtual hearings.

As per the notice dated May 20, 2026, advocates and litigants joining proceedings through video conferencing must now mandatorily enter their names along with the serial number of the concerned case as mentioned in the cause list for proper identification and smooth conduct of proceedings.

The High Court has also directed all concerned persons to strictly follow the video conferencing guidelines available on the “Virtual Hearing” page of the official website of the High Court to ensure uninterrupted court functioning.
