Law Notify : Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal held discussions on expanding India–Canada cooperation for shared growth and prosperity during a meeting with Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Tim Hodgson, in New Delhi on Thursday.

The talks focused on strengthening energy security, collaboration in critical minerals, and advancing renewable energy initiatives. Sharing details on social media, Mr Goyal said he also gave his Canadian counterpart a tour of the New Parliament Building, describing it as a seamless blend of heritage and modern design that reflects the spirit of New India.
