Kavitha Launches ‘Telangana Rashtra Sena’, Calls for Realisation of “Social Telangana”

April 25, 2026 : In Telangana, Kalvakuntla Kavitha has announced the formation of a new political party, ‘Telangana Rashtra Sena’ (TRS). Speaking at a public gathering in Munirabad, she said the party is committed to achieving a “Social Telangana” a vision she noted was central to the statehood movement but remains unfulfilled.

Reflecting on her tenure with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, Kavitha acknowledged shortcomings in governance and expressed regret over the previous administration’s failure to meet public expectations.
