Raipur : The newly appointed Chief Justice Krushna Ram Mohapatraof the Chhattisgarh High Court arrived in Raipur today, September 6, 2026. He was accorded a warm and dignified welcome upon his arrival in the state capital.
The welcome ceremony was attended by Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court, the Registrar General, PPS, Protocol Officer, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raipur, and other judicial officers. Principal Secretary, Law Department, the Collector, Raipur, the Revenue Commissioner, and other senior administrative officials were also present.
The oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed Chief Justice will be held on September 7, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Chhattisgarh Mandapam, Lok Bhavan, Raipur.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, an Ovation Ceremony in honour of the Chief Justice will be held at 4:15 PM on September 7, 2026, at the Chief Justice’s Court Room at the Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur.
The ceremonies will mark the formal assumption of office by the newly appointed Chief Justice and his commencement of duties as the head of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
