Law Notify : The Narcotics Control Bureau has dismantled a Mephedrone (MD) manufacturing laboratory in Jodhpur and arrested four alleged drug traffickers in connection with the operation. According to the agency, the facility was set up to produce nearly 200 kilograms of MD for supply in the illegal drug market.

Investigators said preliminary findings point to a wider network. One of the three main suspects is believed to have established three clandestine Mephedrone manufacturing units in Bengaluru, from where the seized contraband is suspected to have originated. All three prime suspects are currently absconding, and the NCB said efforts are underway to track them down and dismantle the remaining links in the operation.
