February 08, 2026 : The Government has invited comments from the public and stakeholders on the Draft Income-tax Rules and Forms, 2026. Submissions can be made until the 22nd of this month through the official Income Tax portal. The Income Tax Department said the draft rules have been placed in the public domain to encourage transparency and support a participative and effective rule-making process.
