Delhi Outreach Program Highlights New Income Tax Act 2025

April 21, 2026 : The Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions) in Delhi hosted an outreach event aimed at enhancing financial literacy and detailing the Income Tax Act, 2025. The Ministry of Finance reported that the session drew representatives from over 80 schools across the Delhi-NCR area, alongside various educational trustees and administrators.

During the event, Principal Chief Commissioner Pallavi Agarwal outlined the primary objectives of the 2025 legislation. She noted that the new act is designed to minimize procedural complexity, eliminate legal ambiguities, and bolster transparency by leveraging modern, technology-driven systems.
