Enforcement Directorate Joint Director Recruitment 2026: 20 Vacancies, Eligibility, Salary and Application Details

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), under the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has invited applications for appointment to the post of Joint Director of Enforcement on a deputation basis. According to the vacancy notification, 20 posts are available for eligible officers from Central Government, State Government, Union Territory Administrations and other specified organisations.

The post of Joint Director of Enforcement is placed in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix. The recruitment is being conducted through deputation, and the appointment will be governed by the applicable recruitment rules and conditions prescribed by the Directorate of Enforcement.

Eligibility Criteria

Officers belonging to the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory Administrations, Public Sector Undertakings, universities, recognised research institutions, semi-government or autonomous bodies and statutory organisations may apply.

Candidates must either be holding an analogous post on a regular basis in their parent cadre or department, or have completed five years of regular service in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix, or the corresponding pre-revised pay scale/grade pay.

In addition, applicants must possess 10 years of relevant experience. Of this, six years should be in intelligence or investigation work, adjudication or prosecution relating to fiscal or criminal laws, finance, accounts or corporate affairs. The remaining four years should be in administrative work.

Age Limit and Tenure

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation is generally 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. The period of deputation, including service in another ex-cadre post, is ordinarily subject to the conditions prescribed under the applicable recruitment rules.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format through the proper channel, along with the required supporting documents.

The application is to be submitted to the Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Pravartan Bhawan, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi. The latest notification provides that applications should reach the prescribed authority within 30 days from publication of the advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.
