Centre Clears Appointment of Three Judicial Officers as Chhattisgarh High Court Judges

Bilaspur: The Centre on Tuesday approved the appointment of three judicial officers as Judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court, following the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium made on August 18, 2026.

The judicial officers appointed to the High Court are Santosh Sharma, Sushma Sawant and Sudhir Kumar. Their appointments mark a significant development in strengthening the judicial strength of the Chhattisgarh High Court.

The appointments were cleared by the Central Government after the Collegium recommended their elevation to the High Court Bench.
