According to official inputs, a PCR call was received at Safdarjung Enclave Police Station, following which a police team reached the spot and initiated inquest proceedings under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Preliminary assessment points towards a case of suicide.
Police stated that the information was conveyed by the deceased’s brother-in-law, a resident of Defence Colony. On reaching the residence, officers found Sharma unresponsive. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
