NEET UG Counselling 2026: MCC Begins Round 1 Registration Today, Check Complete Schedule and Important Dates

August 5, 2026 : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the Round 1 registration process for NEET UG Counselling 2026 today. Eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses can register through the official MCC counselling portal. As per the notified schedule, the registration and fee payment window will remain open until 3:00 PM on August 12, 2026.

After completing registration, candidates will be able to fill and arrange their preferred colleges and courses from August 6 to August 13. The choice-locking facility will be available between August 12 and August 13, allowing candidates to confirm their final preferences before seat allotment.

The Round 1 seat allotment process will be conducted from August 13 to August 16, and the seat allotment result will be announced on August 17, 2026.

Candidates who receive a seat in the first round must report to their allotted institutes between August 18 and August 22 to complete the admission formalities. Participating institutes will verify the details of admitted candidates on August 23, 2026.

Candidates are advised to carefully follow the official guidelines and complete each stage of the counselling process within the prescribed deadlines to avoid disqualification.
